In the 2.8.0 version will be a new feature , the new Insane Quality setting .
As now you can choose or jpg 24bit (with quality setting ) or png .
In every case you will have a little loss of quality from the original image ( the thing is more visible on little text ) .
This new feature will apply no compression on the final jpg files (32 bit)  so the image is very , very , very much better .
The only problem is the final size . With 1280 px at 80% quality of image size with standard jpg file  you will have a file of 300 kb but , with this new feature , you will have a 1,20 Mb file .
